Counselor in Training Program!
The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program at CAMP FARLEY equips teens with the leadership and life skills that embody our core values: helpfulness, compassion, strength of character, strong work ethic, and initiative. These leadership skills are taught in a fun, safe, and challenging group environment.
Campers chosen for our CIT program will spend 2-3 programs per day working with campers and learning from our counselor staff about how to manage time and people as well as about the program areas generally. CITs will participate in group meetings weekly where they will have a chance to reflect on their experiences and learn from their peers. During the session, our CIT 2s will lead two programs with the support of our counselor staff and our CIT 1s will lead at least one program with the support of our counselor staff.
With successful completion of the program, every CIT will receive a Certificate of Accomplishment and a formal letter verifying that the CIT earned 40 hours per week of community service time.
We value our future leaders and we want to provide them with an opportunity to challenge and grow themselves. If you have an interest in our Counselor-in-Training program, please apply.
