Leader in Training Program!
The Leader-in-Training (LIT) Program at CAMP FARLEY equips teens with the leadership and life skills that embody our core values: helpfulness, compassion, strength of character, strong work ethic, and initiative. These leadership skills are taught in a fun, safe, and challenging group environment.
Students chosen for our LIT program will spend 2-3 programs per day working with campers and learning from our counselor staff about how to manage time and people as well as about the program areas generally. LITs will participate in group meetings daily where they will have a chance to reflect on their experiences and learn from their peers. During the session, our LIT 2s will lead two programs with the support of our counselor staff and our LIT 1s will lead at least one program with the support of our counselor staff.
With successful completion of the program, every LIT will receive a Certificate of Accomplishment and a formal letter verifying that the LIT earned 30 hours per week of community service time.
We value our future leaders and we want to provide them with an opportunity to challenge and grow themselves. If you have an interest in our Leader in Training program, please apply.
